Valley Powdercoat is looking to add 1-2 positive, energetic, responsible people to our team. We are looking for people with powder coating experience and will provide additional training to match your skill set with our processes. The successful candidate will enjoy advancement opportunities and a competitive compensation package including extended health benefits. Starting wage will be dependant on the applicant's skill level.
Responsibilities for this position include setup, daily care and clean up of our application equipment, use of coating measurement tools, best practices for powder coat application and QC of coated parts. Our shop has an automated conveyor line and two batch systems, we are looking for an application specialist that is comfortable in either system.
Our ideal candidate:
- Can drive and/or has a way to get to work every day
- Has excellent work ethic and shows up ready to work each day
- Has a strong understanding of the powder coating process
- Has experience working with either Wagner and/or Nordson coating systems
- Is able to focus for extended periods of time
- Has a keen eye for quality and details
- Is able to understand the safety measures required when working with powder paint
- Is looking for a long-term career with one of the top powder coating facilities in the Fraser Valley.
