Welcome Home Construction is a growing self-perform builder working on commercial and multi-unit projects across the Waterloo Region. We're hiring a hands-on Site Supervisor / Working Lead Hand to run our field crew — someone who can set out the work, lead a small team, and keep jobs moving across excavation, concrete, roofing, and waterproofing scopes. This is a working leadership role: you're on the tools and in charge.
What you'll do
- Lead and schedule a small field crew across multiple project types (excavation, concrete forming & flatwork, roofing, waterproofing).
- Set out work from drawings, sequence tasks, and keep jobs on pace and on budget.
- Coordinate with the owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
- Enforce site safety, lead toolbox talks, and keep WSIB and safety documentation current.
- Verify quality and code compliance before inspections and client walkthroughs.
- Mentor crew members and help the company build its field bench as it grows.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in commercial or multi-unit construction, including crew leadership or supervision.
- Hands-on experience across earthworks, concrete, and/or building-envelope trades.
- Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate multiple trades.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and jobsite safety requirements.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation between sites.
