We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer oriented individual to join our team as a Parts and Service Advisor.
Job Summary:
The Parts and Service Advisor will serve as a primary point of contact for customers visiting or contacting our facility. They will be responsible for delivering exceptions customer service, assisting boat and recreational vehicle owners with service requests, coordinating service appointments, and ensuring efficient and effective communication between customers and our service technicians. Strong parts knowledge is an asset.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide outstanding customer service to all customers, visitors, and potential customers, while always demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor.
2. Act as the main liaison between customers and technicians, effectively communicating customer request, concerns, and service needs.
3. Assist customers with scheduling service appointments, ensuring accurate recording of service details, and coordinating service assignments with the serviced department.
4. Conduct initial assessment of customer service requests and provide accurate and detailed information regarding service options, estimated timelines, and associated costs.
5. Effectively handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, promptly addressing issues and ensuring resolution to customer satisfaction.
6. Maintain a thorough understanding of the marina’s services, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information to customers and promote additional services.
7. Manage service records, ensuring accurate documentation of customer interactions, service requests and work performed.
8. Collaborate with the service department to prioritize and schedule service assignments, ensuring timely completion of work orders and maintaining efficient workflow.
9. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service area.
10. Assist with the coordination of boat movement into and out of storage.
11. Responsible for maintaining ,organizing and coordination of parts .
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or related field is preferred.
2. Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a marine and recreational vehicle environment.
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and technicians.
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple customer inquiries and service requests simultaneously.
5. Knowledge of the powersports and marine components including boating equipment, maintenance and repair procedures is advantageous. Experience in the automotive industry would be useful.
6. Proficient computer skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in resolving customer issues.
9. A strong knowledge of texting platforms would be useful.
10. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and occasional evenings as needed.

Pay: $20.00-$25.50 per hour
