Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to support the well-being and development of children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children of various ages, ensuring their needs are met with care and professionalism. Duties
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety at all times
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, including meal planning and cooking as needed
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, play, and creative projects
- Maintain cleanliness of the childcare area, including cleaning toys and surfaces regularly
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols diligently
Skills
- Experience in caregiving or working with children preferred
- Ability to cook nutritious meals and perform meal preparation tasks effectively
- Compassionate caregiving skills with patience and understanding for children of all abilities
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment
- Teaching abilities to support early childhood development through engaging activities
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and team members
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a dynamic setting
