We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in patient care by dispensing medications accurately, providing medication counseling, and ensuring safe medication practices within a hospital or clinical setting. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient safety and quality care are top priorities. Community based pharmacist is what we are looking for. The Pharmacist will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently according to physician orders
- Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions using medical terminology expertise
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify medication plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols related to medication administration
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of medication dispensing activities
- Monitor patient responses to medications and report adverse reactions or concerns promptly
- Educate patients and staff on new medications, protocols, and best practices in medication management
Experience
- Prior pharmacy experience is preferred
- If you speak any indian language this is a plus given the demographics of patients
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and electronic health records is advantageousThis role requires a committed professional who values precision, patient safety, and collaborative healthcare. Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
