Longmire Farms is looking to fill a full-time seasonal position for harvest 2026, with potential for future employment.
We are a family farm that plants and harvest around 11,500 acres of cereals, pulses, and oilseeds each year. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a grain farm and will be familiar with conventional grain production. Candidates should have knowledge of combines, agricultural software and GPS systems. Currently operating John Deere x9 and S series combines. 1A drivers license or commercial trucking experience is an asset. We will provide training on our systems as required.
Must be attentive, mechanically inclined, able to service machines and implements at an acceptable standard. Supper is provided during harvest. Participating in radio sarcasm is encouraged, but not required.
Employees will be expected to work 7 days per week during peak season, weather permitting. Days off are limited during the busy season but given if required. Hours expected are typically 60-80 per week in August, September, possibly into October.
For out of town help, we have a site for trailers with power and water. Modern, clean accommodations with internet and laundry also available. Contact for more information. Pay depending on experience.
