Job Summary
Sabrosa Restaurant and Tequila Bar is seeking an experienced and motivated bartender/server to join our team! In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, support sales and customer service efforts, and ensure a smooth shopping experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service or hospitality, strong leadership skills, and proficiency with POS systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparing cocktails in a fast paced environment
- Serving guests per company standards
- Being reliable and flexible with days available
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Support sales initiatives and help achieve store targets through effective team leadership
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Oversee cashiering activities, including cash handling and processing transactions using Clover POS system
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed in applicable sections of the store
- Support serving activities, maintaining high standards of hospitality and food service
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and coordinate with suppliers as needed
- Train and supervise staff on POS usage, food safety protocols, and customer service standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers and staff
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems
- Background in restaurant, food industry, or hospitality environments is necessary
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Effective communication skills to lead staff and interact with customers confidently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving
