Job Description
Position Summary
The Site Supervisor coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities and ensuring the safety and comfort of clients. Maintains the job site office and closes out projects. This position reports to the designated Project Manager. This job often requires Supervisor to work evenings and weekends to accommodate client business and schedules.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
- Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
- Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
- Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
- Understands the project plans, specifications, and company processes
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
- Prepares, schedules and supervises completion of a final deficiency list.
- Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
- Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
- Maintains an organized job site, including the construction office
- Resolves issues as they arise with clients, employees and sub-trades while maintaining positive working relationships.
- Other such duties as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Required: Post Secondary technical training i.e.: Civil Tech, Engineering etc. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Preferred: Red Seal Journeyman trades certificate
- Ability to form strong working relationships with diverse groups of people, including company employees at all levels, clients, and other outside professionals
- Demonstrated analytical and statistical knowledge using general business mathematical skills (able to prepare and understand budget reports)
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial/residential construction industry and practices.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of applicable regulations, especially in occupational health and safety.
- Proven ability to successfully manage heavy workloads with multiple priorities
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence and minimal supervision
- Familiarity with current relevant technology
- Desire to be part of an innovative and entrepreneurial management team
- First aid certification preferred, fall arrest certification an asset
- Must be willing to travel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
