What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Sales & Business Growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Canada's commercial sector.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that expand market presence.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline using Salesforce/CRM tools.
- Generate high‑value leads and convert them into long‑term partnerships.
- Build targeted account plans across key industries: hospitality, healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, multi‑family, and retail.
- Deliver compelling presentations that communicate technical capabilities and value.
- Negotiate contracts that support sustainable, profitable growth.
Relationship Building
- Cultivate strong relationships with decision‑makers and industry partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Build partnerships with GCs, architects, engineers, developers, and property managers.
- Maintain presence in construction, real estate, and technology associations.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Align with operations and marketing to support your sales objectives.
Market Analysis & Insights
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Provide strategic recommendations to refine service offerings.
- Monitor industry activity and competitive movements.
- Deliver executive‑level briefs summarizing pipeline, market shifts, and opportunities.
Performance, Leadership & Accountability
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Demonstrate disciplined pipeline management and consistent follow‑through.
- Contribute to building a high‑performance sales culture.
- Establish reporting cadence for forecasting, pipeline velocity, and conversion rates.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in sales with a strong track record of achieving targets.
- Proactive, opportunity‑driven mindset with strong follow‑through.
- Long‑term commitment and loyalty to the organization’s mission and growth are highly valued.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation ability and comfort influencing decision‑makers.
- Comfortable handling rejection and maintaining momentum in a competitive sales environment.
- Experience in security, commercial technology, and/or low‑voltage industries (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms (highly desirable).
- Understanding of commercial automation is beneficial but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred but not required.
