Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. The Warehouse Associate must load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g. lift truck, forklift, etc. Other responsibilities will include the inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if there are multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete
· Maintain organized work area according to company standard and safety regulations
· Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off
· Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies
· Handle the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries
· Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking
· Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries
· Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
· Completed High school diploma or GED;
· Valid driver’s licence and good driving record;
· Experience working in the warehouse and holding forklift certification preferred;
· Able to communicate both verbally and in writing;
· Inventory organization and problem solving;
· Work is performed in a combination of environments such as noise and dust;
· Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting;
· Ability to perform physical tasks such as lift and carry heavy materials up to 60 lbs.
Pay: $16.68-$23.93 per hour
