Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative community engagement strategies to raise awareness and foster strong relationships with diverse audiences.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach activities that resonate with community interests and organizational goals.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, partners, volunteers, and stakeholders through personalized communication and exceptional customer service.
- Utilize databases and CRM software to track donor information, monitor engagement levels, and generate reports for strategic decision-making.
- Write compelling grant proposals to secure funding from grants and other philanthropic sources while managing grant reporting requirements.
- Conduct research on potential funding opportunities, community needs, and emerging trends to inform strategic planning efforts.
- Manage public relations efforts by creating engaging marketing materials, managing social media channels, and representing the organization at community events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fundraising, community outreach, or relationship management within a nonprofit or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of databases, CRM software and marketing tools to support engagement efforts.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience in grant proposal writing.
- Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational objectives while adapting to changing community needs.
- Demonstrated ability to research opportunities, analyze data, and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented mindset; adept at building lasting relationships.
