Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of industrial and commercial spaces, including floors, machinery, and work surfaces
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to maintain high standards of hygiene
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist in waste removal and disposal in accordance with environmental regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and break rooms
- Document completed tasks and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines to ensure consistent cleanliness throughout the facility
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and industrial cleaning environments
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies as needed
