At Mike Jackson GM, we take pride in delivering a first-class customer experience from the showroom to vehicle delivery. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer / Lot Attendant to join our team.
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of new and pre-owned inventory, customer vehicles, and the dealership lot.
Responsibilities
Wash, clean, and detail new and used vehicles for showroom display and customer delivery
Vacuum interiors, clean windows, wipe surfaces, and apply dressings/protectants as required
Maintain vehicle presentation standards on the lot and in the showroom
Move, organize, and park vehicles safely on dealership property
Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation quality before delivery
Keep wash bays, detailing areas, and lot areas clean and organized
Assist sales and service departments with vehicle preparation requests
Remove snow, ice, and debris from vehicles during winter conditions
Fuel vehicles and check basic presentation items as needed
Support dealership operations with general lot maintenance duties
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Previous automotive detailing or dealership experience is preferred but not required
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
