We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate veterinary team. This role is vital in supporting veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Duties
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations and treatments
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Restrain animals safely during procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff
- Deliver clear client communication
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Provide compassionate care to animals, including feeding, bathing, and monitoring recovery
- Restocking supplies and medications as needed
- Front Desk support, client transactions, email, telephones
Skills
- Experience in a veterinary clinic setting
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
- Ability to handle animals gently and confidently in various situations
- Laboratory experience is preferred to assist with sample collection and testing procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving veterinary practices
- Basic understanding of medical terminology related to veterinary care is beneficial

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
