Firm Formwork is seeking Formwork Journeyperson Carpenters and a Layout Carepnter to join our growing team. We are a small formwork contractor with big plans. We are building a team from the ground up. If you have formwork experience or want to learn, get in touch! All new formwork equipment. Knowledge of Doka Wall & Deck Systems is considered an asset.
We are located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / EXPERIENCE:
- Working on multi-story (9+ Floors) commercial construction sites
- Working within formwork, building panels for footings, slabs, retaining walls, stairs, etc.
- Able to get to the site for 7 AM
- Knowledge of Doka Wall & Deck Systems is considered an asset.
- Total Station [Layout Carpenter Position]
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Site located in downtown Halifax – Parking is paid
- Working outside – exposure to the elements
- Wages are at Union rates and also include medical/dental benefits and Pension contributions.
