You're the Last Line of Defense
Every generator and power distribution unit we build ends up somewhere that matters — job sites, remote communities, critical infrastructure across North America. Before any of it leaves our facility, it comes across your table. If something's off, you catch it. That's the job.
You don't need a background in generators specifically. If you're mechanically inclined, curious about how electrical and power equipment works, or you've got hands-on experience from another trade — automotive, HVAC, industrial maintenance, electrical, machining, even a hobby where you fix or build things — you already have a head start. We'll train the rest. The attitude and the attention to detail are the part that has to come with you.
What You'll Do
- Inspect and test generators, heaters, and power distribution equipment against our quality standards before they ship
- Record test results clearly and accurately, and flag anything that doesn't meet spec
- Work alongside Production and Engineering to run down issues and understand root cause
- Learn to read and follow mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications (we'll train you if this is new)
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Build toward more advanced testing and inspection responsibilities as you grow in the role
What We're Looking For
- Attention to detail. You notice the small stuff — because on this equipment, the small stuff matters.
- The right attitude. Reliable, coachable, and genuinely invested in doing the job well.
- Mechanically or electrically inclined. Comfortable with tools and hands-on work, whether that comes from a trade, a technical program, a past job, or just tinkering on your own.
- Clear communicator, written and verbal — you'll be documenting results and working with the team.
Nice to have, not required: experience with electrical systems, generators, motors, control panels, or reading technical drawings. Backgrounds we'd love to see apply: electrical, automotive, HVAC, industrial maintenance, millwright, machining, or anyone mechanically inclined looking to break into manufacturing.
No prior QC or manufacturing experience required. This is a genuine entry point into a skilled trade, with room to grow — and a great next step if you're an electrical tech or hands-on tradesperson looking for steady, Monday-to-Friday work.
