About the project
AAA Canada is looking for a Composite Assembler to join its team. The candidate will be responsible for performing the preparation, cutting, assembly, heat treatment, and inspection of composite material parts, while following technical specifications and using appropriate tools.

Responsibilities
-
Cut carbon fiber and fiberglass fabrics
-
Prepare tooling, lay up fabrics, and compact
-
Prepare resin, install the mold in the oven, and monitor the curing process
-
Adjust parts: deburring, trimming, sanding
-
Select appropriate tools to assemble, bond, and install parts made of composite materials (such as carbon fiber and Kevlar)

Occasionally perform machining work (such as drilling, riveting) or heat treatment
-
Use Customer Aircraft technical data (Production, Quality, Safety, Instruction Sheets, Routings, Environmental Instructions, Assembly Instructions, Drawings, etc.)

Ensure technical fine-tuning of the assembled unit after inspection

Carry out the heat treatment of a part (heating, quenching, etc.) and ensure final adjustment of the assembled unit after inspection.
Skills and qualifications
-
CAP/BEP in mechanics up to BAC PRO in plastics and composites, or in mechanical and production engineering, or equivalent

Significant experience in the field

Operation of machinery or lifting equipment following CACES®-type training and medical clearance:
- Self-propelled forklift
-
Overhead crane
-
Aerial work platform
-
Hoist, etc.

Knowledge of English may be required

Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical documentation, and aeronautical bills of materials

Detail-oriented and rigorous, with manual dexterity, team spirit, autonomy, and a methodical approach
Required experience
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
