Responsibilities
As an Automotive Detailer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality detailing services while ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience.
- Perform comprehensive cleaning and detailing of vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, seat shampooing, steam cleaning, waxing, and extract carpets and upholstery
- Clean leather, plastics, glass, trim, and other interior surfaces.
- Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, and engine bays
- Wash, decontaminate, and dry vehicle exteriors safely
- Apply waxes, sealants, ceramic coatings, dressings, and protectants (experience is an asset but not required)
- Assist with paint correction and polishing (experience is an asset but not required)
- Assist with Paint Protection Film (PPF) and Vinyl Wrap installations (experience is an asset but not required)
- Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet Limestone Car Detailing's quality standards
- Safely move customer vehicles around the property
- Represent Limestone Car Detailing professionally on both mobile and in-shop appointments
- Communicate professionally with customers to understand their specific detailing needs and provide excellent service
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and supplies are properly stored and replenished as needed
- Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines during all cleaning procedures
- Assist with additional vehicle maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors to support overall operations
Skills
Required
- Valid Ontario G Class driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills
- Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
- Ability to follow company processes and safety procedures
Assets (Not Required)
- Previous automotive detailing experience
- Experience with paint correction or polishing
- Experience applying ceramic coatings
- Experience with PPF or vinyl wrap installation
- Customer service experience
- Passion for cars and automotive care
Compensation & Scheduling
- Competitive hourly pay, based on experience, skills, and performance.
- This is an on-call position, with scheduling based on customer bookings and business demand. Hours may vary from week to week.
- Employees can expect to work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week, depending on seasonal demand and appointment volume.
- Weekend and evening availability may occasionally be required to accommodate customer schedules.
