Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server with previous restaurant experience. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and adhere to sanitation protocols
- Provide guest services that foster a positive atmosphere and encourage repeat visits
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred but not required; hospitality or guest services background is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
