Brodsky Construction is seeking an 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic. The successful candidate will be working on site with our equipment from a company service truck. This full time, permanent postion is for year round work and may include working in the shop durring the winter season.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair earth moving equipment such as excavators, rock trucks, dozers, graders, etc.
- Perform regular onsite servicing on heavy earthmoving equipment including: Equipment startup and shut down, Fueling, Greasing, Oil changes, Filter Changes
- Detailed tracking of records and costs using company software.
- General jobsite maintenance and organization.
- Adherence to company safety program.
- Working with an experienced journeymen who will provide guidance, support and, training.
Qualifications
Required
- 3rd or 4th year apprentice mechanic in Heavy Duty, Truck and Trailer, or Agriculture mechanic.
- Must be driven to excel in your position, and improve every day.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willing to work away from home when required.
- Willing to work 60+ hours per week when required.
- Willing to work weekends and holidays when required.
Preferred
- Experience with CAT equipment and support software: CAT ET and SIS.
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

- Mechanic: 2 years (preferred)
