What You Will Be Doing as a Bilingual Account Specialist:
As an Account Specialist, you are the primary owner of your assigned customer portfolio.
You are responsible for maintaining long-term, strategic relationships while ensuring account stability, commercial alignment, and sustained customer satisfaction. Your focus is forward-looking, identifying recurring patterns, resolving structural challenges, and strengthening the service model over time.
You operate at both a relationship and performance level, ensuring customer expectations are clearly understood, performance trends are monitored, and long-term improvements are implemented when gaps emerge.
Success in this role is measured by portfolio stability, customer retention, and the strength of the partnerships you build.
Key Accountabilities
Portfolio Ownership & Relationship Management
● Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts
● Build and maintain strong, trust-based customer partnerships
● Conduct structured account conversations focused on performance and improvement
● Maintain deep understanding of customer business objectives and service expectations
Performance Monitoring & Stability
● Monitor account-level trends and recurring service patterns
● Identify risks that may impact retention or satisfaction
● Develop and implement corrective action plans when gaps emerge
Structural Issue & Root Cause Resolution
● Investigate recurring or systemic service challenges
● Lead cross-functional collaboration to address structural gaps
● Implement long-term solutions rather than short-term fixes
● Ensure follow-through until sustainable resolution is achieved
Commercial & Service Model Alignment
● Ensure service delivery aligns with agreed scope and expectations
● Flag scope creep or misalignment early
● Support renewal conversations and service model adjustments when required
● Protect the long-term viability of the account
What You Should Have, as a Bilingual Account Specialist:
● 3–6+ years in logistics, transportation, account management, or commercial operations
● Strong understanding of freight and service delivery models
● Demonstrated experience managing ongoing client relationships
● Ability to analyze recurring issues and identify root causes
● Comfortable navigating performance and commercial discussions
