Job Description
As a Dog Attendant your main responsibility is to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the business. This includes supervising a large group of dogs, providing basic grooming services, spending one-on-one time with the dogs, and maintaining a clean and safe facility.
You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, including answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and addressing any concerns or issues that arise. Additionally, you may be responsible for managing the business's social media presence and communicating with clients through various channels.
Your specific roles and responsibilities may vary depending on your skill level and expertise. For example, if you have experience in dog grooming or training, you may be tasked with more advanced tasks in those areas. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to ensure that every dog that comes through the facility is well-cared for and happy, and that every client is satisfied with the service they receive.
What You Will Need:
· Experience with dogs is mandatory; personally, and/or in a professional setting
· Must be comfortable and confident working with large groups of dogs (Typically 30+)
· Our priority is making sure our pet parents are always happy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
· Must be able to multi-task and prioritize the safety of our pack, which may involve de-escalating excess rough play
· Both of our playrooms offer an outside area for the dogs, which means spending time outside in all weather conditions – applicants must understand that getting dirty is part of the job!
· Career progression based on performance and increased responsibilities
· Experience working in a desk job that involves task such as answering phone calls and emails, providing customer service, and managing communication with clients.
· Have experience in managing a team of staff
