Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and supporting the overall dining experience to ensure customer satisfaction. Experience in food service, hospitality, or the food industry is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and timely processing
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Follow all sanitation protocols to uphold health standards in food handling and serving
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Experience with food handling, serving, upselling, and hospitality best practices is desirable
- Food industry or restaurant experience will be advantageous for success in this role
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
