THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations. This is a floor-focused role: you will be the face of the dining room, the connector between our kitchen and service team, and the standard-bearer for the Zambri's guest experience.
You will report directly to Julia McInnis, co-Owner & Executive Chef, and work closely with Event & Sales Manager to co-manage the restaurant to build a cohesive, guest-first culture.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: evening shift
Thursday: day shift
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Guest Experience
- Act as host to maximize occupancy and warmly welcome every guest
- Manage reservations and phone inquiries; configure OpenTable to optimize seating and turn times
- Ensure regulars, new guests, and VIPs all receive attentive, consistent service
- Address guest feedback professionally and resolve issues with confidence
Floor & Service Management
- Lead pre-shift meetings (4:30 pm, with a second briefing for late starters)
- Coordinate daily with the Chef on specials, menu updates, and feature sheets
- Actively manage the dining room through service, supporting servers, maximizing covers, adjusting staffing in real time
- Troubleshoot IT and POS (Lightspeed) issues as they arise
Team Leadership
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to build a guest-focused team culture
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new staff
- Conduct coaching conversations and annual performance reviews
- Attend weekly management meetings
Administration
- Cash-out reconciliation, scheduling, and inventory management
- Ordering (dry goods, beer, coffee, office supplies, etc.)
- Wholesale order and invoice management
- POS item programming and updates
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in a restaurant management or senior supervisory role
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Calm, confident leadership on a busy floor
- Strong communication skills, with guests, kitchen, and FOH team alike
- Comfort with reservation systems (OpenTable) and POS platforms (Lightspeed preferred)
- Wine knowledge or sommelier credentials are a significant asset, and may expand your scope and compensation from day one
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary
$55,000 annually. Compensation is a conversation, not a ceiling. Exceptional candidates are compensated accordingly. Candidates who can bring wine program management in-house will see that reflected immediately.
Gratuities
1% of net sales for all shifts worked (post-training period).
