Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to restaurant standards
- Cook menu items accurately and efficiently, maintaining consistency in presentation and taste
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
- Assist with plating dishes and garnishing as needed for service
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks during busy periods, including stocking supplies and cleaning work areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude
- Passion for the food industry and eagerness to learn new skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
