Focused on climate mitigation, we deliver sustainable building programs to those primarily in the residential built environment. We are a small, but mighty team looking to add an enthusiastic, motivated individual interested in contributing to, and learning from, the organization.
Role Overview
In this position, you will become immersed in the many aspects of our organization, carrying a project from start to finish, while other times working as a team. This is a hands-on position, and as the Marketing & Project Coordinator, you will have your hands in writing, design and editing collateral tools; content creation and updates for the website, social media and newsletter; research; coordinating webinars and other public events and more. You should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a busy work environment.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role. Equivalencies will be considered.
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or closely related field.
- Proven experience and proficiency with graphic design and related software (i.e. Canva, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Content development skills supporting our website, newsletter, social media and presentations.
- Experience managing administrative projects and duties, which may include managing contact lists (e.g. MailChimp, Excel), program tools and portal updates and reporting.
- Working knowledge of AI and its implications.
- Ability to pursue basic sales leads, tracking and manage benefits’ fulfillment.
- Proven ability to build relationships both internally and externally and comfort handling client calls and video meetings.
- Confident self-starter with a desire to learn and a positive attitude, with the proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment
Built Green Canada operates using a hybrid model with work from home and work from the office as required. Applicants can anticipate being required to work from the office two days per week.
