Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Hardscaping Crew Lead / Foreman to oversee the execution of high-quality landscape construction projects. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with 3–5 years of experience who takes pride in craftsmanship, leadership, and delivering exceptional outdoor spaces.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of job sites, lead by example, and ensure every project reflects the company’s commitment to excellence, precision, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew in the installation of premium landscape construction projects, including:
- Interlocking pavers and patios
- Retaining walls and structural elements
- Curbs, edging, and base preparation
- Planting and sod installation
- Concrete work (asset)
- Read and accurately interpret landscape drawings, plans, and specifications
- Plan, organize, and execute daily tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
- Take ownership of job site operations, ensuring quality control at every stage of the project
- Operate and oversee the safe use of tools, equipment, and machinery on-site
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site at all times
- Communicate confidently and professionally with homeowners and property owners on-site
- Collaborate with company leadership to provide updates, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Train, mentor, and hold crew members accountable to company standards and performance expectations
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in hardscaping or landscape construction
- Proven leadership or crew supervision experience
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Interlocking and paver installation
- Retaining wall systems
- Grading, base preparation, and drainage fundamentals
- Planting and sod installation
- Ability to read and execute from construction drawings and layouts
- Experience operating trucks and trailers (valid driver’s license required)
- Minimum working proficiency operating:
- Skid steer
- Mini excavator
- General landscape construction equipment used on a daily basis
- Knowledge of concrete work is considered an asset
- Experience or familiarity with deck and fence construction is considered an asset
- Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence in making on-site decisions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Physically capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: $27.00-$37.00 per hour
