Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, effective communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker or similar dental software.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and Sterilbay.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental technology.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is necessary, with knowledge of Tracker being advantageous.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Experience in a dental receptionist role is a plus.
- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology can enhance your application.
- A background in Orthodontics will be considered an asset.
