Duties.
- Safely operate commercial trucks, including Class 1 vehicles, to transport freight to designated locations.
- Utilize forklifts and other heavy equipment to load and unload cargo efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with freight handling, ensuring proper securing and documentation of loads.
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle safety and functionality.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation and operations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
Experienc
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Basic automotive repair skills are preferred to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation or industrial vehicle management is asset, and training will also be provided.
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to operate machinery safely under various conditions and adapt to changing operational needs.
Pay: $4,500.00-$7,000.00 per month
