About the Role
As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in creating a refined and welcoming experience for our guests, ensuring their rooms are impeccably cleaned and thoughtfully prepared. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, washing dishes, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, & balconies to the highest luxury standards.
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, ensuring everything is perfectly presented and refreshed.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of all hotel property including window cleaning, changing light bulbs, watering gardens, reporting any maintenance issues or broken equipment, maintaining hot tub cleanliness, sweeping and clearing debris from walkways or paths.
- Stock and maintain all housekeeping supplies daily, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly while maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters related to the hotel and hotel guests.
- Be an exemplary brand ambassador for the hotel by ensuring each room is a sanctuary of comfort, cleanliness, and understated elegance.
Specific Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment is preferred
- Possess a meticulous eye for detail and a high standard of cleanliness
- A proactive approach to guest service, anticipating needs and adding thoughtful touches
- A strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining consistency in quality and service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a warm, professional manner, addressing them by name when appropriate.
- A commitment to upholding luxury service standards, ensuring that every aspect of a guest’s room contributes to an exceptional stay.
- The ability to work independently with strong time management skills, ensuring efficiency without compromising on attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and strength, as the role requires manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and performing deep cleaning duties.
- A passion for providing exceptional hospitality, contributing to a guest experience that is seamless, personalized, and memorable.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support our guests.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
