Position Overview:
The Maintenance Coordinator ensures operational efficiency by managing the CMMS software, including the creation, scheduling, and closing of work orders. In this role, you will document, track, and report on maintenance activities while partnering closely with diverse stakeholders to meet plant objectives, maximize uptime, and foster a productive, reliable environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Safety & Environment: Model a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies for staff and visitors.
- Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with the lead to assign, track, and complete maintenance tasks, requests, and repairs in a timely manner.
- Operations & Systems: Interface with CMMS software, maintain machinery logs, and write/implement SOPs and JHAs.
- Inventory & Purchasing: Manage supply inventory and procure tools/materials, adhering to company purchasing policies.
- Vendor Management: Source, screen, and coordinate external service providers.
- Team Support: Assist with hands-on maintenance tasks as schedule permits.
Required Skills and Experience:
Certifications/Licenses:
- High school diploma
- Valid Driver’s License with driving record that meets company insurance standards;
- Confined space, forklift and first aid is highly desirable
- WHMIS or ability to obtain.
- Successful completion of the required airport badging process
