Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Deck Builder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deck building and customer service.
This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial builds, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.
The Builder will collaborate with firld supervisor and other tradespeople to ensure timely and efficient completion of decking projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in deck building or related trades such as carpentry.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of construction estimating and project planning is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction trades are preferred but not mandatory.
