We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe, supportive, and friendly work environment. We are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee our diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document & Meeting Management:
- Review tender documents, specifications, scopes of work, and drawings
- Attend construction meetings to ensure clear communication and project alignment
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Consult with clients, design teams, vendors, and subcontractors
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
- Prepare detailed cost estimations for materials, labor, and equipment
- Develop comprehensive estimates for tender submissions on projects of various scales
- Establish unit costs, labor rates, productivity factors, and account for location impacts
- Project Execution & Oversight:
- Perform take-offs and calculate material quantities as required
- Source competitive material and equipment pricing for all tenders and pursuits
- Manage awarded contracts, including handling extra work items, change orders, and re-pricing due to design changes
- Monitor project performance to meet schedule, budget, and contract specifications
- Provide support to field teams as needed
- Pre-Tender Engagement:
- Attend pre-tender site visits and meetings to fully understand project scopes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project manager, with mandatory experience in both earthworks and civil works
- In-depth understanding of earthworks and civil work procedures, underground utilities installations, MMCD, and heavy civil construction practices
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, building specifications, and schematics
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and subcontractors
- Proficiency with Excel, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD
- Strong budgeting and scheduling abilities with a track record of enforcing project parameters
- Familiarity with BC's soil conditions and challenges associated with civil projects
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver’s License (field work may be required)
- Post-secondary education is mandatory; a degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Structural Engineering is preferred

Pay: $145,000.00-$165,000.00 per year
