By understanding that the standards within the landscaping and snow removal industry are constantly changing and vary from customer to customer, EDPS strives to offer the top level of services with its practices and procedures. You, as a Foreperson/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on-site aspects of landscape construction projects.
The Account Executive is the primary revenue-generating role in the organization. This person owns the full sales cycle from first contact through to signed contract, and retains strategic ownership of every client relationship they bring on board. Once a contract is closed, day-to-day service delivery and client communication is managed by the Production Manager — allowing the AE to remain focused exclusively on new business development, account growth, and contract renewals. This is a high-accountability, high-reward position. The AE is expected to hit clearly defined seasonal quotas and will be supported by a Sales Coordinator who manages lead generation, CRM, and proposal administration on their behalf.
PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
New Business Development
- Prospect for and close new commercial landscape maintenance and snow/ice management contracts within the assigned territory
- Conduct site walks, needs assessments, and deliver proposals to prospective clients
- Perform cold outreach, attend networking events, and pursue referrals from existing clients
- Represent the company at local trade associations, property management events, and industry functions
- Actively promote the company brand on LinkedIn and other professional platforms
- Achieve seasonal new business quotas: $1,000,000 in winter snow/ice contracts and $280,000 in summer maintenance contracts annually
Account Management & Client Retention
- Serve as the primary strategic contact for all assigned client accounts
- Manage all contract renewals — target multi-year agreements of 2 to 3 years wherever possible
- Conduct proactive client touchpoints throughout the season — minimum once per month per account
- Liaise between the client and the Production Manager on any service issues that escalate to a relationship level
- Identify and close enhancement and upsell opportunities within the existing portfolio
- Participate in client-driven activities including board meetings, site reviews, and seasonal walkthroughs
Estimating & Proposals
- Gather all site-specific information required to build an accurate scope of work
- Work with the GM on all estimates prior to proposal delivery — no proposal goes to a client without
GM sign-off
- Ensure proposals are accurate, professionally presented, and delivered within 48 hours of site walk completion
- Track all outstanding proposals in the CRM and follow up on a defined schedule
Financial & Reporting
- Provide weekly pipeline reports to the GM — new leads, proposals outstanding, and deals closed
- Collaborate with the GM on sales forecasting and budget vs. actual tracking
- Assist in pursuing accounts receivable issues that cannot be resolved through standard accounting processes
- Track all activity in the company CRM — every call, meeting, proposal, and client interaction must be logged
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience — commercial property services, facilities management, or related industry strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, present, and close commercial service contracts
- Confident conducting site walks and discussing technical scope with facilities managers and property directors
- Valid Ontario G driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Professional presentation and conduct at all times — company branded attire required in the field

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
