This role involves the full process of installing and refinishing high-end hardwood floors, requiring attention to detail, physical endurance, and an understanding of advanced techniques.
. Site Preparation & Setup Unloading materials, setting up tools, and ensuring job site readiness Masking off adjacent surfaces and protecting surrounding areas Preparing and labeling stain samples Inspecting and preparing the sub-floor, ensuring it is level and free of defects
2. Hardwood Floor Installation Measuring, marking, and aligning floorboards for a precise layout Cutting planks using saws to fit seamlessly into the design Securing flooring using nail-down, glue-down, or floating methods Installing transition pieces and thresholds for a seamless finish
3. Sanding & Refinishing Operating industrial sanding equipment to remove old coatings and imperfections Fine sanding to create a smooth, flawless wood surface Hand-finishing edges, corners, and detailed areas Applying stains and custom finishes using precision techniques Sealing floors with high-quality polyurethane water-based finishes
4. Detailing & Final Inspection Buffing and polishing to ensure a professional-grade finish Performing touch-ups and quality checks for a flawless result Conducting site cleanup and final presentation to the client Explaining care instructions and ensuring customer satisfaction Mandatory Candidate Requirements

Job Schedule & Compensation Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Unlimited overtime available)
