Job Overview
SALTA Gymnastics Club is building a pool of qualified and aspiring coaches for the 2026/2027 season. We are seeking energetic, positive, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about working with children and helping athletes develop confidence, strength, and physical literacy through gymnastics.
Positions may become available in our Preschool, Recreational, Competitive, Trampoline, and Adaptive Gymnastics programs.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics lessons appropriate for various ages and skill levels
- Ensure the safety of all participants by following proper coaching and spotting techniques
- Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
- Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and constructive feedback
- Monitor athlete progress and support skill development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training area
- Work collaboratively with fellow coaches and program leads
- Represent SALTA Gymnastics Club in a professional manner
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with children is an asset
- Gymnastics coaching experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to motivate and engage athletes of all ages and abilities
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- CPR/First Aid certification is an asset (training may be provided)
Certifications
SALTA supports coach development and is willing to train and certify the right candidates.
The following NCCP certifications are considered assets:
- Foundations
- C1 (Competition 1)
- C2 (Competition 2)
- C3 (Competition 3)
Candidates willing to complete training and certification will also be considered.
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and NCCP certification level. Higher certification levels (C1, C2, C3) and relevant coaching experience will be reflected in pay.

Pay: $15.75-$40.00 per hour
