Supervise personnel, and quality control teams to ensure safe, efficient,
and compliant operations.
- Manage the processing of fuel blends, hazardous waste, and solids.
- Perform and oversee quality control testing (PCBs, metals, pH) and
analyze data to ensure product compliance.
- Ensure adherence to labor, safety, and environmental regulations (local,
state/Provincial, and federal).
- Train and mentor staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs),
equipment operation (forklifts, LOTO, confined space entry), and safety
protocols.
- Schedule work assignments, monitor inventory levels, and verify accuracy
of inbound/outbound materials.
- Complete and review critical documentation, including manifests, batch
tickets, and safety reports.
- Investigate incidents, enforce company policies, and maintain a clean,
organized work environment.
- Assist in hiring, performance evaluations, and emergency response
coordination (e.g., spill containment and cleanup).
- Operate and maintain tank farm equipment (pumps, valves, mixers,
vacuum trucks).
- Ensure completion of weekly Job Task Observations (JTOs) and
employee JTO progress.
- Identify and report Hazards (Haz IDs) in SEMS; encourage team members
to report safety concerns.
