Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the automotive industry, along with expertise in sourcing industry related products and tooling. Knowledge of aftermarket performance parts and accessories is highly desirable. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for sourcing, ordering, and managing inventory of automotive parts, industrial products, tooling, aftermarket performance parts, and accessories.
Responsibilities:
- Source and order automotive parts, industrial products, tooling, aftermarket performance parts, and accessories for various projects.
- Manage inventory of automotive parts, industrial products, tooling, aftermarket performance parts, and accessories, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Organize displays of automotive parts, industrial products, tooling, aftermarket performance parts, and accessories for accessibility and visibility.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers based on industry knowledge, including aftermarket solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and expenditures.
- Uphold a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Parts Advisor or similar role in the automotive industry.
- 2-5 years of experience in the customer service industry.
- Experience in sourcing and ordering automotive parts, industrial products, tooling, aftermarket performance parts, and accessories.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive parts and components, with a strong emphasis on aftermarket performance parts and accessories.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computerized inventory management systems.
