- Applicants require a Registered Nurse (RN) practicing license that is current, active, and in good standing with your respective provincial College.
- Transfer of active practicing license will be required with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
- Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in acute care environments, preferably on medicine/surgical floors.
- Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B
- Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years
- Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider) and Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
- Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
- Flexible to work occasional shifts that are considered urgent/last minute/early morning
Please note that based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are now required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
