The Health Sciences Department is seeking to hire a regular part-time Clinical Practice Placement Lead for our Fort St. John Campus. This position will act as a key resource to support student success throughout their education journey as well as provide guidance to students as they prepare for entry into clinical practicums.
The Clinical Practice Placement Lead is responsible for the successful operation and maintenance of laboratories in Northern Lights College Health Sciences to ensure an optimal learning environment for students. The Lead will act as a liaison between students, lab instructors, program chairs, support clerks, and administration.
Duties may include advising students regarding post admission requirement and student practice education core orientation completion; co-ordination of placement requests through the provincial health sciences placement network; preparing instructional material for lab and clinical placements, ensuring lab premises and equipment are clean and maintained with adequate inventory; designing and implementation lab safety procedures.
