We are seeking dedicated and skilled Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team. These roles are essential in ensuring that our restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our guests. Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and cooking instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Help with meal preparation for various menu items, ensuring quality and presentation meet restaurant standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Participate in maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
