Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and portion ingredients for menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Support the team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple orders.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines, including proper storage, sanitation, and temperature controls.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are a plus.
