We are seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Servers at Namsan Korean Cuisine in Calgary, Alberta. As a Server, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our guests by providing attentive service and knowledgeable recommendations about our authentic Korean cuisine.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Process payments and handle cash or POS transactions accurately
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and restaurant service standards
Qualifications
- Previous serving or restaurant experience is an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ProServe certification is an asset (if applicable)
