Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator / Office Manager to join our dental practice. This multifaceted role involves managing patient interactions, coordinating office operations, and supporting the clinical team to ensure smooth daily functions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of dental and medical office procedures, and experience with practice management software ABELDENT.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in/check-out processes
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using ABELDENT software
- Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism
- Manage patient records, including electronic medical records and dental charts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Collect payments, process insurance claims, and verify coverage details
- Assist with billing, coding, and budgeting tasks related to office operations
- Support human resources functions such as onboarding new staff and maintaining employee records
- Supervise front desk staff and coordinate administrative duties across the office
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and treatment scheduling
- Assist with inventory management of office supplies and dental materials
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dental or medical office environment; familiarity with ABELDENT is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of electronic medical records systems and medical terminology
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to healthcare settings is beneficial
- Experience with budgeting, billing, and insurance processing is desirable
- Familiarity with hospital or acute care settings can be an asset for understanding complex workflows
- Prior experience in nursing or healthcare administration is a plus but not required
