Howitt Construction is a busy earthmoving company, based out of Red Deer, who specialize in road re-construction projects, new landfill and lagoon cells, and site preparation for residential/industrial and commercial developments.
We're looking for a local experienced dozer operator to join the team for a site development project near Dickson Dam AB. Start date is Sept 8.
Site Specific Details
- Placing topsoil,
- Shaping stockpiles and building berms,
- GPS experience an asset, not necessary.
Candidates must be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a safe manner following all policies and procedures.
Work Details
- 7am to 6pm - 11 hr shifts,
- 7 days a week, long weekends off
- Must provide own transportation to and from work,
- Must have: high visibility vest, steel toed boots, gloves and hard hat.
Dozer Scope of Work:
- Minimum of 6 years experience,
- Stripping topsoil,
- Grading slopes,
- GPS experience an asset but not necessary,
- Must be able to work alone.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
