ABOUT HMG INC.
HMG Inc. is a brand development agency built for the aftermarket automotive and Powersports industry. We manage the full B2B & select B2C sales lifecycle for our clients. As we scale, the way we tell our story and the stories of our clients has never mattered more.
We don't do average. The brands we represent are built on passion, performance, and identity. Our content needs to reflect that at every level — from the agency's own presence down to the platforms of each client we serve. This role is a cornerstone investment in HMG's future.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a creative leadership position — not a coordinator role. You will own the content output and social media performance for HMG Inc. and its brand clients, reporting directly to the President and serving as the primary creative voice across every brand in the portfolio.
LANE 1 - HMG Agency Content
Build and grow the HMG brand. Vlogs, behind-the-scenes, agency culture, travel and event coverage, and raw authentic storytelling. real, magnetic, industry-credible, and scroll-stopping.
LANE 2 - Client Brand Content
Manage and grow social media for HMG's brand partners. Monthly content calendars, organic content creation, Meta ad campaigns, community management — all delivered on time, approved by leadership, and measured against clear growth targets.
THE CONTENT STANDARD
For HMG agency content, the benchmark is micro content. Real moments. High production value. Content that feels lived-in, not staged — storytelling that pulls people in and keeps them coming back. You will travel occasionally with the President to trade shows, dealer visits, and shoots, capturing the behind-the-scenes grind, the wins, and the culture of this industry.
For client content, the standard is equally high — but the voice is theirs, not ours. You must shift between brand identities without losing sharpness. Every piece published under an HMG-managed brand reflects on us as an agency. That responsibility lives in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHMG Agency Content & Brand Building
■ Develop and execute HMG's content strategy across Instagram, Facebook & YouTube, and LinkedIN
■ Shoot and edit vlogs, reels, short-form video, and behind-the-scenes content
■ Travel cross-Canada with the President for event coverage, shows, dealer visits, and agency storytelling.
■ Create raw, authentic content that captures the culture of HMG and the industries we serve
■ Build and grow HMG's social following through consistent, on-brand, high-quality output
■ Produce creative assets including photography, video, graphics, and copy for agency use
■ Work 1 on 1 with HMG Marketing Assistant for Ads manager support, graphic design & excecution for social media.
Client Social Media Management
■ Manage and grow social media accounts for multiple HMG brand clients simultaneously
■ Develop monthly content calendars per client — submitted to HMG leadership for approval before scheduling (see workflow below)
■ Create scroll-stopping organic content — video, photography, graphics, and copy tailored to each brand
■ Actively manage community engagement: comments, DMs, and brand interactions across all platforms
■ Fluent in daily story posts to drive client D2C sales & brand awareness.
■ Collaborate with the sales team to ensure social content supports dealer and distributor activity, including brand & dealer collaboration posting.
■ Deliver monthly performance reports: reach, engagement, follower growth, and content results per client
■ Participate in client-facing calls to present calendars, campaign performance, and strategy when required
Content Approval Workflow
All client content operates under a structured approval process. This is non-negotiable and applies to every brand page managed by HMG.

Draft Content Calendar
Prepare the full monthly calendar per client — all posts, captions, creative assets, and scheduling.

Submit for Approval
CC HMG Inc. leadership on the calendar by the 20th of the preceding month. No content is scheduled until written approval is received. Once work flow is established with a set standard, we move to greater touch points and improved role " runway"

Incorporate Feedback
Action any revisions from HMG leadership promptly and resubmit if required.

Schedule & Post
Once approved, schedule all content using the designated scheduling platform.

Monitor & Optimise
Actively monitor performance post-publication and flag any content needing real-time adjustment to leadership immediately.
This process protects our clients, upholds HMG's brand standards, and ensures full leadership visibility into everything published under our management. It is part of the role, not an administrative burden.
Meta Advertising
■ Build, launch, and manage Meta ad campaigns across awareness, traffic, and conversion objectives. Understand re-targeting methods.
■ Develop ad creative and copy aligned with each brand's voice and campaign goals
■ Monitor daily — optimise targeting, creative, and spend to maximise results
■ Provide clear, client-ready performance reports with actionable insights
■ Stay current on Meta algorithm changes, ad policy updates, and best practices
Client Communication & Reporting
■ Serve as the day-to-day creative contact for HMG's brand clients on content and social matters
■ Present monthly content calendars, campaign results, and strategy updates — professionally and with confidence
■ Communicate proactively — clients need to trust their brand is in capable hands
■ Flag any client issues, approval delays, or content concerns to HMG leadership immediately
30 / 60 / 90 DAY ONBOARDING PLAN
Your first 90 days are structured for success — not a trial by fire. Here is what we accomplish together:
Day 1–30
■ Complete brand and client onboarding — immerse in every HMG brand and client account
■ Audit all social channels, ad accounts, and existing content across HMG and clients
■ Deliver a written findings and opportunity report for each property
■ Establish content tools, scheduling platforms, and workflow systems
Day 31–60
■ Submit and gain approval on first monthly content calendars for all clients
■ Launch or optimise at least one Meta campaign per active client
■ Establish HMG agency content rhythm — first published vlogs and reels live
■ Complete first client-facing calendar presentation
Day 61–90
■ Full independent ownership — zero missed calendar deadlines
■ First complete monthly performance report delivered to leadership
■ HMG agency channel showing measurable growth trajectory
■ First 90-day creative review with the President
6 & 12 MONTH VISION
Beyond onboarding, here is exactly what success looks like at HMG for this role:
6 Months
■ All client calendars submitted, approved, and published on time
■ Measurable month-over-month follower growth across a minimum of 50% of managed client pages
■ HMG agency channels posting consistently — minimum 5x/week across primary platforms, propose and execute strategy.
■ At least 2 vlogs or long-form pieces published featuring the President and agency.
■ Meta campaigns optimised and delivering results clients can see — ROAS and engagement tracked
■ Performance bonus achieved for the first time — on track toward upper OTE range
12 Months
■ HMG agency social presence recognisable in the Automotive and Powersports space — follower growth of 40%+
■ All client accounts showing year-over-year growth in reach and engagement
■ A full creative library built — HMG has real content assets to deploy across every channel
■ Creative Director track actively discussed with leadership — title and comp reviewed
■ Performance incentives in play based on client growth and retention
■ First additional creative resource (review) (photographer, editor, or coordinator) potentially onboarded under your direction
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
■ Based in Muskoka, ON or genuinely able to commute up to 3 days per week — this is an in-person, hands-on culture
■ Willing and available to travel cross-Canada with the HMG President — sometimes on short notice.
■ A proven portfolio of high-quality content — video, reels, vlogs, or brand social work you can show us
■ Demonstrated experience managing business social accounts with measurable growth results
■ Hands-on Meta Ads Manager experience with real campaign results to back it up
■ Professional communication skills — you will be client-facing and must present strategy with confidence
■ Comfortable on camera and behind it.
Skills & Experience
■ 3–5+ years in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing
■ Video editing proficiency — CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent
■ Graphic design capability — Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, or equivalent
■ Strong copywriting across platforms: captions, ad copy, YouTube, and long-form
■ Understanding of platform algorithms and organic growth strategy
■ Content planning and scheduling tool experience — Meta Business Suite
■ Strong passion of automotive / diesel performance / powersports is crucial to effectively understand and market to this demographic is required.

COMPENSATION & GROWTH PATH
This role is built to grow. As HMG scales and adds clients, the scope, title, and compensation of this role scale with it. We are not hiring someone to fill a seat — we are hiring someone to build a department.
Base Salary
$55,000 – $70,000 CAD (commensurate with experience)
Performance Bonus
Quarterly bonuses tied to client growth KPIs and HMG agency content milestones
On-Target Earnings
$75,000 – $95,000+ for strong, consistent performers
Travel & Expenses
All economic travel expenses are covered by HMG
