We are currently looking for a dedicated Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects while ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. Candidate should have a background in Mechanical contracting, ductwork, ventilation systems, sheet metal and construction.
Job Overview:
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in organizing and managing key mechanical projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the successful delivery of each project within the specified timeframe and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of mechanical projects
- Ensure all projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and within budget
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for ongoing assignments
- Allocate resources effectively to support project requirements
- Implement appropriate change management processes to handle modifications in project scope, schedule, and expenses
- Monitor project progress and communicate important milestones to relevant parties
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in project meetings as necessary to provide updates and insights
- Establish and nurture partnerships with external vendors and service providers
- Create and manage comprehensive project documentation to track progress and ensure accountability
- Attend job showings and provide input on drafting/issuing proposals and RFPs
