About The Copper Lantern
The Copper Lantern is a wedding and event venue hosting celebrations, corporate gatherings, and private events throughout the year. We’re looking for friendly, reliable Event Bartenders to join our team and help create memorable experiences for our guests.
Position Overview
Event Bartenders are responsible for providing warm, professional bar service during weddings and events. This is a casual, part-time role that works well for students or individuals looking for flexible evening and weekend work. Hours will vary, with busier periods during the summer wedding season and the holiday party season.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, and simple mixed drinks efficiently and professionally
- Provide welcoming, attentive service to guests throughout the event
- Set up and maintain a clean, organized bar area
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices at all times
- Assist with bar setup before events and cleanup at the end of the evening
- Monitor bar supplies and communicate when restocking is needed
- Work closely with the event team to ensure smooth service
Qualifications
- Must meet legal requirements for serving alcohol (Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification required)
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience is an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting bar supplies when required
