Niagara Mini Rides is hiring outgoing Event Assistants to help deliver unforgettable experiences for kids at festivals, community events, corporate activations, schools, and private celebrations across Niagara and occasionally outside of the Region.
If you’re energetic, reliable, love working with children, and aren’t afraid to be a little silly, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll help create memorable experiences for hundreds of kids throughout the season by:
- Setting up and tearing down event equipment
- Assisting with mini vehicle experiences
- Helping children safely enter and exit vehicles
- Rotating participants through activities
- Monitoring event areas and maintaining safety
- Engaging with children and families
- Answering basic customer questions
- Supporting the Niagara Mini Rides team during festivals, corporate events, schools, and community activations
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need event experience. You do need to be:
- Friendly and approachable
- Comfortable talking to parents and children
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to lift and move equipment (up to 30 lbs)
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Available weekends and occasional evenings
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience working with children
- Camp counsellor experience
- Recreation leadership experience
- Early childhood education background
- Event experience
- Customer service experience
