POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Regional Director is responsible for leading the operational, programmatic, and financial performance of a group of campuses within a defined region. This includes coaching Centre Directors, driving quality assurance, supporting enrolment growth, and ensuring compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA). The role acts as a bridge between campus teams and the Support Centre, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, values, and goals. This is a contract opportunity to support a team member’s upcoming leave of absence. We're looking to fill this opportunity as soon as possible to provide an extended overlap and transition period. This contract is expected to run through approximately May 2028.
This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote work and regular travel to Childventures and Mighty Kids campuses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct leadership to Centre Directors, supporting daily operations, strategic planning, and team development

Conduct regular campus visits to assess performance, curriculum implementation, and licensing compliance

Oversee the execution of policies, procedures, and initiatives at the centre level

Partner with Directors to meet enrolment, budget, staffing, and quality assurance targets

Collaborate with the Support Centre and VP on the rollout of new programs, tools, and initiatives

Support recruiting, retention, and succession planning for each assigned campus

Ensure health and safety, Ministry compliance, and environmental quality standards are met

Guide family experience initiatives, communication strategies, and satisfaction efforts
-
Provide conflict resolution support and coaching to address team or family concerns
-
Contribute to tuition and compensation strategy development by monitoring market trends

Represent Childventures in the broader early years community

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Certification
-
ECE Diploma or Degree required
-
Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
-
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in early childhood education

Experience as a Centre Director required; regional/multi-site management preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of the CCEYA and childcare operations
Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong financial acumen including budget and reporting familiarity
